My story

Report on Sookie from her foster mom:Sookie has been thriving away from the shelter and is proving to be a great dog!Toys are her life!Completely adjusted to a gentle lead which stops her pulling.Met a few strangers and loved the attention. Occasionally, she jumped with excitement but corrected well.Spent time in a crate without any issues and eventually fell asleep.Walked by a cat, showing interest but did not lunge or bark. She also showed no reaction to a dog barking or growling at her. When given toys, she's content with lounging by herself in the backyard.No signs of resource guarding.Had a bath and blow-dry, and while she wasn't thrilled with it, she gave no trouble.Sookie absolutely loves being with her humans and enjoys plenty of cuddles. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
