My story

Meet Quinn!Quinn is a gentle soul who, along with several of his siblings, came to us after experiencing a challenging time. Their previous owner passed away, and they arrived at our shelter feeling understandably frightened and uncertain. Over time, we`ve worked hard to show them that love, care, and patience are all around them, and Quinn is starting to open up to the idea of trusting humans again.Quinn is one of a group of siblings, including Stix, Babycakes, Lucy, Jackson, and Joannie, all of whom are ready to find their forever homes. They each need a compassionate, understanding family who can offer a calm, safe space for them to blossom.Building trust with Quinn will take time, so we recommend a quiet, patient approach to interactions. He thrives on gentle, intentional moments, and once he feels safe, you’ll see his loving side emerge.Quinn gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, so if you have a furry friend at home, we invite you to bring them in for a meet and greet to see how they get along. Sometimes it takes a few visits to form a connection, but the effort will be well worth it!If you’re interested in giving Quinn or another pet a loving home, stop by Macomb County Animal Control during our walk-in adoption hours, Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm.Quinn`s adoption fee is SPONSORED!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt QUINN, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
