My story

Token is a 4-month old very good boy who lucked out the day a Good Samaritan found him tied to a fence and brought to a local shelter for help. Token was underweight and suffering from Ricketts Disease, but vets have confirmed the nutritious diet he’s currently eating will help his slightly crooked legs correct themselves as he continues to grow. Token is very food motivated and smart, almost completely potty trained, and has done exceptionally well being crated for 3-4 hours at a time so far. He has typical puppy energy, so would do best in a home with another playful dog friend, or someone who can engage in daily exercise and training while he’s learning about the world. While he loves all the people and dogs, Token should probably not be placed into a home with cats, as even at this young age, his interest is a bit excessive. Token is up to date on all vaccines and microchipped. We will work with adopters to have him neutered at around 9 - 12 months old. All Philly Bully puppies under 8 months must go to a home within 2 hours of Philadelphia. Philly Bully Team will prioritize homes with another young and playful dog, but we will also adopt to homes that sign their puppies up for training classes prior to adoption. You can read more about our puppy adoption policies on our website.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Token, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
