My story

Rose is a 1½-year-old medium-sized mixed breed who came to Paws Humane Society on April 8, 2025, with her sister Chloe—and these two are a true duo! Deeply bonded and inseparable, Rose and Chloe bring out the best in each other, and we highly recommend they be adopted together for their emotional well-being. Rose is incredibly sweet and affectionate, just like her sister. She absolutely loves people—especially children—and is happiest when she’s getting attention and cuddles. She does well with other dogs, but cats are not her cup of tea. Like Chloe, Rose is still learning the ropes of home life. She’s not yet housebroken and needs some guidance on leash walking, but she’s eager to please and will thrive with patient, consistent training. She can get anxious when apart from Chloe, so a home that can welcome both girls will help her feel safe and confident. Rose is also a bit of a picky eater, so her future family might need to experiment a bit to find what she likes best. She’s a curious, clever pup who needs supervision outside—especially since Chloe has a reputation as an escape artist, and Rose is always close behind. Rose and Chloe are looking for a forever home filled with love, structure, and snuggles.
