My story

Bellatrix isn’t just a stunning name—it’s the name of one of the brightest stars in the night sky and an unforgettable character in Harry Potter. Like her namesake, our Bellatrix has a bold spirit, a bit of mystery and a whole lot of personality. She was surrendered to ARF in early April after a tough time getting along with another cat in the home. She is for sure the queen bee. Bellatrix thrives as a solo queen and needs to be the only feline in her forever castle. While she may be lacking the ability to get along with fellow felines, she's a sweetheart at heart. She’s lived with children before and did wonderfully with them, showing a gentle, affectionate side to those she trusts. Come meet Bellatrix and let her cast a spell on your heart. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
