My story

Please give a warm welcome to our favorite pair of bonded boys, Fisher & Pawz! These sweet seniors came to us after their previous elderly owner could no longer care for them. Sadly, the boys spent much of the past year confined to a crate due to their previous owners' fears, which, of course, is no way for two perfect senior pugs to spend their time. Fisher, 14, and Pawz, 13, have been best friends their entire lives, and their bond is truly special. It’s essential that they be adopted together, as they rely on each other for comfort, stability, and love.Despite their past, Fisher and Pawz are both in good spirits and doing clinically well! Like many seniors, they do have a few age-related issues, including some arthritis, vision and hearing loss, and Pawz has a history of stress-induced seizures, though he is doing fine at the moment. These two are not high-energy, but they love leisurely walks, basking in the sun, and, of course, plenty of cuddle time. And let’s not forget their love of treats—both are big fans and are always up for a little snack! These sweet boys get along wonderfully with other dogs and people, but what they really crave is a peaceful, cozy home where they can live out their golden years in comfort. An adopter with senior dog experience would be ideal as they continue to enjoy their well-deserved rest and relaxation. Fisher and Pawz are ready to leave behind their crate life and trade it for soft pillows, blankets, and the warmth of being curled up on the couch next to you. If you're ready for two times the love, please inquire today!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pawz *bonded to Fisher* / Fisher *bonded to Pawz*, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
