My story

Hi, I’m Cleo! I am what people here at the shelter call a "frequent flyer". The community also lovingly refers to me as "Houdini"! I've been brought here as a stray a handful of times and was always reclaimed, but this time, I guess I'm here to stay. I haven’t let that shake my sweet and playful spirit though! I’m a fun-loving girl who’s ready for a cozy couch, a box of toys, and a family to call my own again! I love toys - squeaky, bouncy, chewy - you name it, I’m ready to play! I’m also very affectionate and enjoy being around people! I’m good with kids, but I can be a little too enthusiastic sometimes, so I might accidentally knock over the tiny ones when I get excited. Older or sturdy kiddos would be a better fit for my bouncy energy. When it comes to other dogs, I can be a little selective. I’d do best with slow introductions and the right match if you’ve already got a pup at home. I’d be just as happy soaking up all the love as your one and only though! I’m a strong girl and I do pull on the leash, so I could use a bit of work in that department. Some basic training and a little consistency will go a long way. I’m smart and eager to please though! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, playful companion with a big heart and an even bigger toy collection, I just might be your girl!
