My story

Charlie may be small in size, but he comes with a heart that’s learning to trust at its own pace. At 5 years old, Charlie is a classic `stranger danger` kind of pup — wary of new people and situations. He`s not the kind of dog who will run up to you for cuddles on day one. In fact, it may take some time (and a lot of patience) before he feels safe enough to let his true personality shine. But once Charlie decides you`re part of his inner circle, you`ll be rewarded with loyalty, affection, and some seriously adorable snuggles. He bonds deeply with his people and prefers a calm, predictable environment where he can feel secure.Charlie is best suited for a quiet, adult-only home with no young kids. He would prefer to be your one and only animal in the home. He’s not the dog for someone looking for instant companionship — but for the right person, Charlie will be a deeply rewarding friend.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt *CHARLIE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
