He is a happy-go-lucky heeler boy whose days of puppy energy are behind him. At a dignified 5 years old, Sundance would be an ideal fit in a home who’s had previous working breed experience and dedicated to continuing his training.Sundance has been fostered with multiple dogs and dog-savvy cats and does well with all of them, respecting any boundaries that other pets set for him. He is gentle and would likely do well with dog-savvy children. He maintains his good manners even during mealtimes, and enjoys some bouts of play followed by time to chew quietly on a bone or a toy. Sundance’s love language is physical touch—he is such a lovebug that he will come running when he hears the words “cuddle” or “snuggle!”He’s fully crate trained with no issues being crated for an entire workday and overnight. Sundance needs a strong, confident handler who can provide structure on his walks, as he wants to say hello to everyone. He is very smart and knows it, so he will benefit from a family that will give him consistent boundaries and mental stimulation.Sundance is a clever, sweet pup with so much love to give.
