My story

Meet Bolt! Bolt is a playful, energetic pitbull mix puppy who had a rough start to life. He came to us in pretty rough shape - needing life-saving surgery due to a tear in his diaphragm. He is fully healed and ready to find a family to call his own! During his recovery, we discovered that Bolt is deaf, but you wouldn't know it because it doesn't slow him down one bit! He is happy, friendly, and confident. Bolt may need to have FHO surgery in the future - we are hoping that he grows and this is no longer needed. Despite his past and medical challenges, Bolt is a happy, active puppy who finds joy in just about anything. He loves being around people and animals. He loves to chase after toys in the backyard. He is energetic and loves adventures, but is also the biggest fan of warm, cozy cuddles. Bolt is a typical puppy who is just excited to be with you exploring the world. Bolt is doing well with training, but needs time and patience as he is learning hand signals rather than verbal commands. He is crate trained and prefers a blanket over the crate so it feels more like a den. He will go to the bathroom whenever let outside, and is currently working on ways to alert when he needs to go potty. Bolt is dog, cat, and kid friendly! He needs a home with another dog he can watch and learn from. Plus, he really craves canine companionship! Bolt will make a great family dog in a home that is a blend of low and high energy. Adoption fee is $325. Bolt has completed all medical, including vaccinations, neuter, deworming, and microchip. APPLY on our WEBSITE: rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bolt, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
