My story

Miss Piggy is a 1-year-old American Bulldog mix with a heart as big as her adorable ears. Her story is a sad one—her loving owner was forced to surrender her after being told she could no longer stay in his apartment. Now she’s with us, patiently waiting for a new beginning. Miss Piggy is deaf, so she’ll need a special home filled with patience, kindness, and a commitment to helping her navigate the world in her own way. Deaf dogs are incredibly smart and capable, and with the right guidance, Miss Piggy will thrive. She’s currently in quarantine while we finish treating her for hookworms, but even now, she’s already shown us just how gentle and loving she truly is. She’s dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other pups. We’re not sure how she does with cats just yet. Miss Piggy may have lost her first home, but she hasn’t lost her hope.
