Female, 1 year old, 50 lbs Personality: playful, affectionate, independent, goofy/funny, eager-to-please, outgoing, adaptable, and energetic. Zara’s not just another pretty snout – she’s the whole cuddly package! This charming, resilient lil’ boxer has come a long way and is ready to soak up all the love the world has to offer. Whether she’s leaning in for cuddles or zooming through the living room, Zara has fully embraced the joys of life. Ms. Zara is a social butterfly with a playful streak, getting along beautifully with both humans and dogs. Zara is a natural entertainer and brings her big personality to every room she enters. She adores her resident foster fur brother, and she’s a quick study on “how to be a very good girl.” Crate time? No problem. Walks? She’s a pro. And she’s doing great with house training. With a few daily walks and a bit of play in the evening, Zara is as happy a pup as can be. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
