His happy go lucky nature makes him an ideal fit for any home. He is a social butterfly, and the word stranger is not in his vocabulary. Danny is fostered in a multi-dog home and enjoys every minute of playing with his pup friends or following the older dogs around the yard, like a true wingman. When his pup friends are busy Danny happily plays fetch with his humans (or by himself) as it’s his absolute favorite game or takes a nice long nap. With his playful nature Danny has done best with dog savvy cats as he initially tries to play with them. Danny adores children and is fostered in a home with children ages four to ten. He has become a bit of a celebrity to the neighborhood kids and they all love coming over to play with him. Danny walks wonderfully on a leash and one of his favorite activities is taking a family walk around the neighborhood and bringing “his kids” to the bus stop every morning. Danny’s crushing it in the training department. His love for food is unrivaled, and he revels in all mealtimes, morsels and treats you toss his way, making training time his favorite time of the day. He is a smart boy and has already learned “sit” and is working on “down”. He is fully crate trained and sleeps soundly in his crate overnight (he loves sleeping in). He is also crated for a few hours throughout the day with a treat and does wonderfully, he’ll just nap until you come home. Danny is mostly house trained and does best on a consistent schedule. He will thrive in any home looking to welcome an adorable and goofy puppy and continue working on his training and giving him a whole lot of love. Is Danny Firefly the missing piece in your family?Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted.
