My story

How this pet arrived: Berry was brought in by a community member on March 15, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Berry is a sweet, shy girl looking for a home where she can feel safe and loved. This little lady can be reactive to strangers and needs some time to warm up, but once she does, she loves being pet and showing affection. She's a bit anxious at first and doesn't do well with children due to her fear - she's holding out for a quiet, low-key home. Berry is an active pup with lots of personality! She gets the zoomies in the yard and is always excited for a good walk - especially when there's plenty of time to sniff around. She enjoys toys, particularly squeaky ones, and can be very playful once she feels comfortable. Treats and baby talk are sure ways to win her over! She's lived with another dog and got along well, though she can be reactive to other dogs on leash and has a tendency to resource guard, so she would do best in a home where she can be given space to relax and enjoy her own time. Berry is looking for a patient, understanding family who will respect her boundaries and give her the time and space she needs to thrive. She does have moderate dental disease and would love to have an owner who can give her teeth some TLC. If you're ready to offer Berry the love she deserves, she'd be so grateful to join your family! Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Black Weight: 51 Age: 3yrs 7mths 4wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Berry, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
