He peered in the window as we came down to check on the usual cast of community cats having breakfast. His tiny face was a big surprise. When we went outside he immediately came to us, purring and rubbing against our legs. They just know when they've come to the right place don't they. We brought him inside, gave his face a wash and some medicated drops for an inflamed eye. After eating a full can of soft food he was in our laps and before long fast asleep. Two days later he was in for an appointment with the vets at Oak Grove for tests and neutering. He handled that like a champ, returning ravenous and bounding about, happy to be back. With a clean bill of health, except for the conjunctivitis in his eyes (almost gone), he's continued his gentle social behavior, big appetite and curious spirit. We've given him supervised experiences with our indoor cat family. Other than some hissing from our girls which doesn't phase him, things have gone well. He's a good little boy who will jump in your lap, fall asleep on a shoulder and amaze you with his ability to put away cat food. He used his litter box right away and has good habits, though all kittens step in it at times. He's learning. He'll be an excellent friend for a family that loves him.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 29, 2025, 6:19 pm
