My story

Just like her name-sake, we love LUCYYYYYY! Lucille is the comic relief you never knew you needed in life until now. Lucille is a ball of fun who loves playing fetch, long walks, and provides endless entertainment to the staff with her happy-go-lucky zoomies. The shelter can be a tough place to be, and sweet Lucille has been through a few transitions over the past several months. Stunningly resilient despite it all, Lucille has maintained an infectious personality that brightens up any room she enters. Lucille is reported to be the perfect office dog relaxing on her bed and wiggling up to staff and volunteers for pets (and yummy treats). Lucille also goes for walks with our volunteers and is described as gentle and easy to walk. Lucille can be selective about her canine companions, so she's recommended for an introduction at shelter if considering a multidog home, and she will only be placed with children 10 or older.
