My story

Meeeow, I’m Velvet—yes, like the softest, coziest fabric ever, and trust me, my fur lives up to the name! I’m a sweet, wise 13-year-young lady who loves gentle pets, cozy naps, and making bedtime biscuits like a pro. I’m not one for laps or being scooped up, but I’ll happily lounge nearby and soak up your love on my own terms. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I’m all purrs and affection. I’m dreaming of a calm, quiet home to spend my golden years in—are you the purr-fect match I’ve been waiting for?The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet Velvet with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org.We will see you at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626.
