Daphne

My story

Hi, my name is Daphne! I am a 9-month-old Mastiff/Anatolian Shepherd mix and about 60lbs but I’m all legs. I have been through a lot in my short life, but I know there is a great world out there. I am full of energy but must take it easy because of my hip. The wonderful doctors at the shelter have fixed me right up but I am not allowed to run around yet. I so badly want to go for a run and play fetch. I just don’t understand why I can’t, but I am told I will be able to soon. Since I must stay calm, I expect my humans to love on me and snuggle with me as much as possible. My foster mom tells me all the time that I am not a lap dog, but I think I fit quite well, you just need to give me some extra room. I am still a pup and need to learn better manners, but I promise I am trying. I am housebroken, so you don’t have to worry about messes with me. I also walk well on a leash but sometimes get distracted and pull a little.I currently am in a home with small and medium size dogs and a cat but unfortunately, I can’t play with them just yet. I am looking for a home that has a lot of positive energy and loves to give big hugs and kisses. Because of my hip, I would do best in a house with low energy animals that are at least medium sized. I am a bit mouthy, so small children may not be the best thing for me right now.If you are looking for a super cute, fun-loving giant girl, I am the one for you!
