My story

Spotnik is a soft, quiet spirit who’s slowly learning that the world isn’t so scary after all. When she first arrived at her foster home, she was shut down and terrified—but with time, patience, and love, she’s begun to blossom. Now, she’ll approach for gentle pets, take treats from your hand, and even hang close by for affection. She’s great with calm dogs, sharing space peacefully with two mellow pups in her foster home! While she’s still unsure about energetic dogs, she thrives around gentle companions who respect her space. Spotnik does wonderful in a home - napping in her playpen when left alone, walks well on leash, potty pad trained, and crate trained. She has a neurological twitch from inactive distemper, but it doesn't stop her one bit! The ideal home for Spotnik is calm, loving, and patient. She would thrive with someone around often, perhaps a gentle canine friend, and a peaceful space to continue building confidence at her own pace. If you're willing to give her a chance, Spotnik is ready to show you how much love lives in even the quietest of hearts. 💖
