My story

Meet Teddy! This 4-year-old, 60lb hunk of love is the sweetest, gentlest mush you’ll ever meet! Teddy is crate trained, incredibly polite, and takes treats like a gentleman (just his lips!). He’s a mellow couch hippo who’s always down for snacks, cuddles, and the occasional zoomie. He knows his basics—Sit, Down, Shake, Wait, Kennel—and is learning new tricks every day. Though a bit shy with water and sudden movements (he’s had a rough past), he’s making amazing progress with patience and love. His does enjoy his crate- it seems to be his safe place that he likes to go to whenever he feels unsure. Teddy adores butt scratches, stuffies, and his foster sibling, and he’s happy to chill on his own or soak up affection with a surprised little wiggle. He’s a happy-go-lucky guy who could slide right into just about any home. Currently undergoing heartworm treatment (he’s already started meds), Teddy is ready to keep healing in a forever home full of kindness and snacks. Teddy is the good-est boy—and he can’t wait to meet you!
