My story

Hi, my name is Lil Kim! I and an adorable Shih-Tzu mix who is looking for a loving and safe forever home. My foster thinks I am about 5 years old. I am full grown and weigh 18 pounds. I am still easily excitable, and nervous in new environments. Once adjusted to my surroundings, however, my personality truly shines! So far my favorite activities are living room parkour and curling up in my kennel with a toy. I’m friendly with all humans, but take some time adjusting to other four-legged friends. I do like other dogs, but I am very mistrustful of a new dog for a few weeks in a new home until I decide that they’re friends and then we are BEST friends!! Lil Kim is fully crate and potty trained and eager to learn more tricks! She would do best as an only dog or with a well-socialized housemate of a similar energy level- she is a go go go kind girl! Her housemate would also need to be ok with having to be separated from her for the first couple weeks in a new home just until she figures out that they are cool.
