My story

We’re looking for more than the bare necessities for our favorite survivor Mowgli. Our sister shelter in Glen Falls first alerted us to his need for medical attention this past fall. Off he went to our veterinarian heroes who got right to work creating a plan for his difficult case of chronic rhinitis. Through all the medical handling, Mowgli’s plucky spirit made us all believe he actually could thrive—and he sure has! Who can resist an enthusiastic shoulder surfer doing rounds with his vet tech friends? We sure can’t! You won’t be able to either. Unlike so many shelter cats, new situations are met with pure joy. Within minutes of moving to his sunny room in Bianca’s Furry Friends, he was frolicking through all the toys, head bumping new friends, and making a mark on all our hearts. Mowgli’s chronic rhinitis is covered for life at cost through our Pet Health Centers which makes adopting him seamless for his lucky family.
