My story

Bella was born just days after her mamma was rescued trying to survive on a remote beach scrounging for scraps, with a collar that was once used to tie her up that had grown into her skin. Bella was very lucky that a kind stranger took her mamma in and then gave a positive loving start to Bella and her 9 siblings. Bella is a happy, gentle puppy that can be a bit shyer than her siblings. She spent her first 2 months of life in the foster home of her rescuer - with other dogs, and a 4 year old child and a social household with guests, exposing her to the good that people can bring. Bella loves to be held and snuggled as well as exploring. She is quiet and gentle in her play. Bella was exposed to a home with various noises and experiences which should help her transition to a forever home. Bella is good with dogs and was successful in her cat test. While she is still young, she does not mess in her sleeping areas and goes outside when taken for relief breaks. She is very smart and easy to train. Bella is on the list to arrive in Vancouver and then Vancouver island and she'd love a forever family. If you think you might be a fit for Bella as either a foster or adopter we'd love to hear from you at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com or pvcaadoptions@pvcaanimalrescue.onmicrosoft.com, or go direct to our application: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw (PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOR OUR RESPONSE).

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bella, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
