Maeve, a gorgeous orange and white tabby, came to our rescue mid March with four healthy newborn kittens. Her kittens are adopted and will be ready to leave with their families at the end of April. So now it’s time to find Maeve her forever home. Our vet says Maeve is close to 18 months old. She behaves very well with other adult cats and is perfectly friendly to humans. She will make a great companion for another cat or for a cat-friendly dog. Since she was a supported outdoor farm cat, she has had lots of positive human contact. And now that she has experienced the safety and comfort of indoor life, she shows no interest in going back outside. Although she is initially wary of strangers, she quickly sizes up situations and then joins the human crowd. She hasn’t learned how to play yet (that often comes last), but she is seeking human attention more and loves affection. Our nominal adoption fee covers blood testing, deworming, vaccinations, and spay/neuter with a partner clinic. And since we appreciate that adult rescues require special consideration from special adopters, we are adjusting the fee accordingly. Maeve is FIV/FeLV negative and completely litter trained. To set up a visit, drop me a note at cherylsferalsandfosters@gmail.com or PM me. If you are considering adopting one or both, please fill out and submit the adoption contract found in The Adoption Process link on my website (cherylsferalsandfosters.com). In the meantime, you can follow their journey on Facebook: Cheryl’s Ferals and Fosters Chat Group. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3).
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Maeve, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
