My story

Hello, my name is Skylar. I am a 4 year old female Husky mix that weighs approx. 54 lbs. I was originally found off John King/Airport in Rockwall on 3/26/25 and never reclaimed. I am now available for adoption. I am very much a Husky that loves attention. I walk well on leash and enjoy my daily exercise. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is recommend to make sure we get along well. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies, basic yearly boosters, and I am heartworm negative. RAC staff will be in touch with an approved applicants in order to schedule a meet and greet.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
