A soothing and peaceful color… Blue - 3 years old, male Great Dane - Playful, gentle, silly - Velcro dog - Enjoys going for walks, running in the yard, and a good game of tug - Believes himself to be a lap dog - Can be unsure when meeting new people, but warms up with a patient introduction - Friendly with other dogs - Food motivated and enjoys training - Crate-trained and housebroken - Cats: unknown, but could be formally tested for an approved applicant - His ideal household will have no children under 12 as he is large, very strong, and unaware of these facts - Looking for an active family with giant breed experience who will be committed to ongoing socialization and training to keep him on track to being his very best **Blue has been neutered and is scheduled for gastropexy performed by our vets. This procedure tacks his stomach into place to reduce risk of gastric torsion for which his breed has the highest risk and can be fatal. For this reason, his adoption fee will be $1325.
