My story

Meet Kash! This handsome 4-year-old pittie boy has traveled all the way from Louisiana in search of a fresh start and a forever family. While we may not know the full story of his past, it’s clear that Kash is a resilient soul who’s overcome a lot to get where he is today. He’s still settling in and taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of his new surroundings—but every day we see more of his sweet personality shining through. Kash is an eager learner, especially when treats are involved (they’re definitely the way to his heart!). He could use a crash course in basic manners and skills, but with a little patience and consistency, he’s sure to pick things up quickly. He’s the kind of pup who just wants to please and be part of the action. When it comes to other dogs, Kash can be a bit selective—he might be open to sharing his space with a calm, dog-savvy companion who respects his vibe. He might also do well in a home with sturdy, dog-savvy kids who can help him grow and thrive.
