My story

For the well-being of our dogs, our kennels are closed to the public for general viewing. If you are interested in one of our dogs, please call 1-800-452-0114 for more information or stop by our shelters 12:00pm- 4:30pm, 7 days a week and speak to one of our adoption counselors.~ I can live in a single family home or condo, apartments considered.~ I am open to living with dog-savvy cats.~ I need to be the only dog in my home when I am adopted. I may be open to living with another dog in the future, but need time to adjust to my new home first.*~ I am calm but have my moments of energy and need to get some exercise every day.~ I am a great dog with lots of potential. I need a family with general dog experience.~ I have some special needs but still have lots of life to live and love to give. Please ask the adoption counselor to explain when you visit with me.Precious is a volunteer and foster favorite! This girl is a good balance between energetic and cuddly and is up for anything her family wants to do. Precious is a great walker and would be happiest with regular neighborhood walks, hikes, or other outdoor adventures. She is a smart and trainable dog, and has been working on her leash manners. Once she gets some energy out, she settles right down and loves to snuggle up on the couch. Precious has some medical needs that are currently well managed through daily medication and a healthy lifestyle, as well as keeping up with a veterinarian for check ups.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Precious, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
