My story

Meet Karen! 🐾 Karen is an approximately 1-year-old pit mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She’s incredibly sweet and affectionate, always eager for pets and cuddles. Karen thrives on human attention and will gladly stick by your side for all the love she can get. She’s an energetic girl who enjoys running around, playing, and exploring the world. Whether it's a game of fetch or just zooming in the yard, Karen brings joy and enthusiasm to everything she does. Curious and social, Karen shows interest in other dogs. She's still young and would benefit from continued training, but she’s eager to learn and please. Karen is looking for a loving home where she can be both your adventure buddy and cuddle partner. If you're ready for a loyal, fun, and affectionate pup, Karen’s ready to meet you! The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs 6 months and older if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
