My story

Tawny is a delightful Carolina Dog mix with a heart full of love and an adventurous spirit. There’s nothing she enjoys more than being with her family, making her the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate pup. Whether she’s lounging in the sun, playing in the yard, or going on an outdoor adventure, Tawny is always happiest when she’s by your side. This sweet girl rides well in the car and is fantastic on a leash, making her an excellent travel and walking buddy. She absolutely loves water, so if you enjoy hiking, camping, or trips to the lake, Tawny will be right there, ready to join in on the fun. She gets along wonderfully with all dogs, making her a great addition to a multi-dog household. She would fit right in with a dog that wants to play. She does have a habit of jumping when excited, so a home without toddlers would be best. She has met cats and hasn't tried to chase. Tawny is very affectionate and thrives on attention and affection. She is still working on her potty training but is making great progress in her foster home. With consistency and patience, she will continue to improve. She is content in a kennel but prefers to be around her family on the couch or bed! Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Tawny is looking for a forever home where she can be part of an active and loving family. Her adoption fee is $250 for in-state adopters and an additional $300 for out-of-state transport.
