Mira

My story

Mira is looking for a malamute experienced /savvy home who can help get her out of her shell and more confidence. Mira is only about 8 months old. She's scared of new people and situations. You will need to be patient and allow Mira is adjust on her terms , at her pace. She's lived outdoors the past several months of her life so being inside, having a leash collar, potty training, this is all new stuff for her that she hasn't quite figured out yet. She warmed up very quickly to us but has growled at anyone else she meets now, she needs a home with NO kids under 10 years of age. She plays well with our large male dog, but she's very much a 50lb puppy who doesn't necessarily know her size or when to stop playing which can become annoying to other dogs at times too. She is not house broken and is stubborn about going outside sometimes but hey if I lived my life outside and then got a taste of the indoors I may not want to go outside either if I thought I'd be left out there . Mira is spayed, microchipped, utd on vaccines, heartworm tested negative and shes pretty much ready to go, except she still needs a groomer. It doesn't look like it but Mira is basically one mat nearly too the skin. She's been too stressed out to take her to a groomer and would probably need sedated for a full shave . Our vet couldn't shave her while she was under for her spay because their clippers wouldn't go through her! I've just been delicately cutting out mats one scissor clip at a time at her pace because she just learned to trust us and I'd hate to ruin it with a stressful groomer trip right now. 😭 Mira is being fostered in Cosby Tennessee
