My story

If Harley could read, he would buy all of the best slow burn romances. This dark and handsome 9-year-old came to the shelter when his lifelong owner moved and next of kin couldn’t keep him. Described by his former family as a “super cuddly” cat who “wants to be right next to you”, Harley was noted to be nervous around strangers. It took some time to get comfortable enough with staff and volunteers, but Harley’s beginning to show his promised cuddle bug lap cat personality! Harley has not been around kids before and was reportedly fine with other cats but frightened of dogs, so he is looking for a dog-free place to crash. Harley’s ideal forever family will be one missing a bed-stealing, lap-warming, talkative older cat (who may or may not beg for human food), and be okay waiting for that trust to come from him. The patient family who chooses Harley will surely reap the rewards of a cat who “sleeps as close as he can to you”!
