My story

Bella is a gentle, quiet girl who’s still learning to feel safe in the world. At just 2 years old, she’s been through a lot—and she wears that experience in her shy eyes and cautious demeanor. But beneath that nervous exterior is a dog who wants to trust, and who responds to kindness with tentative tail wags and a soft heart. When Bella first meets new people, she can be very timid. She may cower or freeze up at first, but with a calm voice, gentle touch, and some tasty treats, she begins to relax and show her sweet, submissive side. Once she’s comfortable, she walks well on leash and seems to enjoy just quietly being near her person. She isn’t fazed by barking dogs, loud kennel sounds, or high-energy puppies walking by—Bella prefers to stay in her own calm lane. She's a slow mover, a quiet soul, and would thrive in a peaceful home with patient people who will give her the time and space she needs to settle in and blossom. Bella is looking for a safe, stable environment where she can continue to build confidence and feel loved.
