June was found as a stray early April in South Dallas, postpartum, starving, sick, and scared for her life. She spent 65+ days at DAS until being put on the EU list. She is named June in honor of her fresh start and new lease on life! June was treated for HW & spayed. She is now finally a heathy weight of about 50 lbs. June is all creature friendly and not reactive. I’ve never heard her bark. She is low energy, shy but sweet, with a calm demeanor. She has leash reactivity, no food aggression or negative behaviors. Her ears change from pointy to floppy, with a pretty black coat that shimmers brindle in the sun! June doesn’t mind baths or nail trims, keeps teeth pearly white on her own with chews! She is potty trained and will use pee pads if left for a while. Completely crate trained but doesnt do much/isn’t destructive, can be left out with no issues at all!Dear June is still adjusting to being a pet dog, feeling safe, and feeling secure. Whatever June went through early on, has affected her to this day. She still hasn’t had the courage to wag her tail, not even once. She is too afraid to go on walks, as other people are too scary right now. Right now, June prefers to lounge around, listen to music, chew on bully sticks/chew toys, eat, and go potty as needed. She truly requires and requests no more than that at this time. She is a coach potato! Eventually, she will come out of her shell when her nervous system is able to reset a bit out of the fight or flight mode.Give June a chance to thrive by submitting an inquiry!
