My story

You’ve heard the saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”, right? Well, when it comes to our sweet pup, the saying is “An Apple a day keeps your loneliness at bay!” Apple is sensitive boy who is looking for a patient family who will spoil him and help him continue to build confidence. Apple spent about six weeks in a foster home- here’s what we learned:- He is gentle and well- behaved when left home alone - He did well meeting new people - He loves walks and is non- reactive to other dogs when on leash- He was house trained overall- He is shy at first but very sweet Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:“Apple was shy in his kennel. We went to a yard, where he was running around sniffing and after a while his passing distance to me became closer and closer. In the end he once in a while accepted some petting. Needs some time to warm up and TLC. Very sweet boy.”Apple has valley fever and takes twice daily medications. He shares his kennel with his sibling and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup.If you can give the sweetest of pups the love and care he deserves, please ask to meet Apple today!!
