My story

Cara is a domestic shorthair who was originally brought into our care as a little 4 week old baby in 2023! Due to her very shy nature when she was younger, she didn't find a home until April of 2024 but she was returned a year later in March 2025 due to her owner moving out of state. Cara is a very sweet, bubbly, and active girl! She gets along great with other cats and loves to roughhouse and play with a feline friend! She is not reccomended to go into a home with pets who don't like to play, as she doesn't understand why they don't want to so she tends to be extra pushy with them and it can stress other calm cats or animals out. Cara is great with fast pace and active families and would do great keeping up with kids! She is reccomended to be indoor only as she can still be unpredictably skittish from time to time! If you are interested in meeting Cara, please submit an application at www.valleyanimal.org At Valley Animal Center our mission is to unite dogs and cats with loving people.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cara, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
