Another foster writes:Burrito is a handsome, playful, cuddly boy. Burrito is quick to be trained and very responsive. He loves going on long walks and playing with all kinds of toys. He's quiet in the house and enjoys snoozing in a kennel. He'd love to go running or jogging with his next companion. He could probably win some agility contests too, he's very athletic. He does still need some training with jumping, so smaller children would not be recommended. My foster writes: Burrito is simply a warm, loving, happy man that we just know instantly is so loving. He quickly snuggles up to us, gleefully plays with a toy, and greets all his new friends like long lost buddies and he's Level 1 beginner adopter. My other foster writes: Burrito is a fun loving, energetic, enthusiastic and mostly respectful sweetheart. He will instigate play but also respect if you have work to do. He can keep up with you on any length of walk or activity. Delighted to cuddle or be a part of any party. Burrito knows commands of paw, lie down, come. And as far as sit, it is almost his default when I pause on a walk. I've never seen such a good and respectful sit. He eats a healthy amount, dry food only. He is food responsive which is great for training. He likes to keep a pretty taught leash but don't really pull. Smart to the point of clever. What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!A volunteer writes, "I know personally there's nothing that warms my heart like a nice burrito, and our Burrito fulfills that same need. Burrito is simply a warm, loving, happy man that we just know instantly is so loving. He quickly snuggles up to us, gleefully plays with a toy, and greets all his new friends like long lost buddies. Burrito was found tied to a fence with his collar cutting into his neck. He got cleaned up once he was found and we are making sure he doesn't know that same level of neglect. He is estimated to be about 5 years old, and if you know us, you know we love a middle aged man. He initially greeted another dog at the shelter with a loose body. Burrito is available for a beginner adopter. " Primary Color: Tan Weight: 52 Age: 5yrs 4mths 1wks
