My story

Peanut is a 6-month-old Vizsla mix with a heart as warm as her golden-brown coat. Her young life has been a whirlwind—found as a stray at just 8 weeks old, she was adopted as a puppy but sadly surrendered at only 6 months. Through it all, Peanut has remained sweet, trusting, and eager to love. Now, she’s searching for the forever home she’s always deserved—a place where she will be cherished for life. Peanut adores people and has lived happily alongside a 4-year-old child, showing her gentle and affectionate nature. She’s a loving companion who will gladly soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. Whether it’s curling up for cuddles or joining you on an adventure, Peanut is ready to be by your side. This playful girl loves splashing in the water, exploring new sights, and experiencing the joy of the outdoors. She rides in the car but is still gaining confidence, so a patient hand and a few positive trips will help her feel secure. Peanut’s adventurous spirit makes her the perfect match for an active home that enjoys time outside. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. With her loving personality and bright spirit, Peanut is ready to give her whole heart to a family who will do the same for her. If you’ve been looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate young dog to join your adventures, Peanut may just be your perfect match. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Peanut, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
