My story

When we met Joker at Chicago Animal Care & Control, we knew he was special. We instantly fell in love with his sweet face and gentle spirit. Joker’s future was uncertain, but thanks to a few foster families who stepped up, we were able to save this sweet puppy. Despite an injury to his back leg that leaves him with a bit of a limp, Joker hasn’t slowed down one bit. This guy loves squeaky toys and treats and will thrive in a home with space to burn off all his puppy energy. As he makes excellent progress on potty training, Joker will do well with a family who loves to exercise him and can continue building a solid routine filled with lots of mental stimulation.
