Meet Wylie, a shy pup with a playful spirit! At first glance, Wylie might seem a little timid, new people and places can be a bit overwhelming for him. But don’t be fooled! Once he feels safe and comfortable, this boy is full of energy and excitement, ready to run, play, and zoom his way into your heart! Wylie is looking for a patient and understanding family who can give him the time he needs to settle in. With love, consistency, and maybe a few yummy treats, he’ll soon show you his fun and playful side! Whether it’s a game of fetch, a zoomie session in the yard, or just some joyful tail wags, Wylie has so much love to give. If you’re looking for a sweet and energetic companion who just needs a little time to blossom, Wylie is your guy! IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOME SIZE: 60 lbs.HOME TYPE: Any.CHILDREN: Yes- Older children that have experience with large dogs, as Wylie is nervous and he lacks manners. CATS & SMALL ANIMALS: Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS: Yes- Dogs potentially compatible. ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL: High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation. HUMAN COMPATIBILTY: First time dog owner possible, provided they are very patient and are willing to work with possible resource guarding. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS: Three in-person training to work on socialization, manners, basic training and possible resource guarding.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER: Very human social once comfortable.
