I'm new to life near the big city. Not too long ago some nice people found me roaming the streets alone in rural Southwest Virginia. I was scared on the streets, and they were nice and had food so I went home with them. Then some more nice people with food gave me a bed and I've been readjusting to home life with my foster family. But that bed is in a crate, and I don’t like the crate that much. It's ok for bedtime at night, but during the day I prefer to be playing and exploring with you and playing with my toys and dog siblings in the house. You don't have to worry about your floors though, I know how to tell you when I need to go outside. I really like learning new things, like tricks and using my nose, and am working on sit, down and stay. A family that likes to play with puzzles and nose toys would love to play with me, because I have the energy to play until we drop and cuddle. Do you know what else I like? Walks! I'm still learning how to walk nicely on a leash (you can help teach me), but that's only because I am so excited to be on a walk with you! I find all the best things to smell and need to smell them all. I can be an only dog, but would also love another dog in the house I could play with. And I get along great with kids, but sometimes have too much energy for really little kids and would do best with kids 9+. Can you take me on lots of walks and adventures? If you want to find out how we can play together and take a lot of walks, email my friend Joshua at JoshuaHTRescue@gmail.com. LOCATION: Foster ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Joshua ADOPTION FEE: $475.
