You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Please contact Cat Support (Info@catsupport.net) for more information about this pet.Lance (dob 9.8.24) is looking for a very special person, an experienced shy cat owner who can spend lots of time holding him and loving on him to help him build his confidence. After being born to a feral mama cat and rescued later than we would hope, he is still a very fearful & timid boy learning that humans aren’t here to harm him. He loves to act like he’s really tough and hiss at you when you approach. Gently and firmly scruff him, pick him up, pull him into your chest and start to pet him and he will start to purr like a motorboat. He really likes to be petted and held, he just doesn’t want to openly admit it yet. Even though he hisses, he has never scratched or bitten. We have high hopes that he will blossum into such a loving boy in the right home as long as his adopter is willing to give him the patience, love and understanding he needs. He will need a very calm household with no children. Teenagers 16+ who understand shy and fearful cats and how to work with them is ok. He has not been introduced to dogs yet but does well around other cats with slow introductions. Although he has a lot of blossoming and socializing to get through, he’ll be worth the reward in his cuddles and purrs!  If you would like to meet this kitty please fill out an online adoption application by clicking here or going to our website at www.catsupport.net. This is the first step in scheduling a meet & greet. All of our cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for parasites. We hold adoption events every 1st & 3rd weekend at our Cat Adoption Center located inside of Petsmart at 5879 Lone Tree Way, Antioch/Brentwood border, CA.
