My story

Meet Pilot! ✈️🐶 Pilot is a 1 ½-year-old, 11-pound terrier mix who is looking for a patient and understanding adopter to help him gain confidence in the world. He came to us from another shelter extremely under-socialized and is very scared of people, the leash, and new experiences. Because of this, he needs time, love, and gentle guidance to help him come out of his shell. Pilot is good with other dogs and would likely benefit from a calm, confident canine friend to show him the ropes. He’s currently working on his leash and potty training, but progress will take time. He’s also a flight risk when doors are opened, so extra precautions will be needed to keep him safe. With a dedicated and patient adopter willing to help him socialize at his own pace, Pilot has the potential to blossom into a loving companion. If you have the time, love, and patience to help Pilot learn to trust, he could be the perfect dog for you! 🐾💙 Adoption fee is: $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
