My story

Hi! My name is Balto and I’m at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m a 2 year old male Siberian Husky who is eager for a new home! I originally had a home, but at no fault of my own, I had to be rehomed. I'm a fun size for my breed and have won over the hearts of every staff member here! I'm great with other dogs that match my play style, even if they don't, I still enjoy being around them. I lived with two younger children and was great with them. I would benefit from a household that like to spend their time hiking, going to the beach, and public areas, but also looking for a family companion. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
