My story

If you’re looking to a add a blockheaded beefcake with a huge smile and a heart of derpy gold to your family, look no further! Dozer lived in one home his whole life before coming to the shelter and was reportedly house and crate trained, did well with kiddos, and was good with big dogs and even cats! His former family described him as an affectionate, playful, and happy boy who likes car rides and loves toys. Dozer is also popular among shelter volunteers- here’s what some of them had to say:“Dozer is just a happy, wiggly boy. He was eager to get out of the kennel and after a short stroll, we sat down and he leaned into my leg and enjoyed pets and affection. I just wanted to eat him up and squeeze his fat cheeks! Very nice boy!”“Dozer was such a good boy on our walk this morning! As we went along, he made friendly eye contact with me and was comfortable with me petting him. He took treats gently from my hand and was not pushy for more. He walked on a loose leash except for when a rabbit dashed out in front of him, but he resumed loose leash walking once the rabbit was out ofsight. Good boy!”Dozer has been independent and easygoing overall when meeting other dogs in playgroup at the shelter. Ask to meet Dozer today!!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt DOZER, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
