This sweet brown tabby (with a hint of calico) is a pure no-nonsense classic cat. As a mature 12 year old Pickle is less into zoomies and more into naps, especially when cuddling is involved, but a few times a day, for about 10 minutes at a time, she loves chasing thrown toys (mice, ping pong balls — whatever you toss that looks fun to pursue). Pickle is also very food motivated and loves playing with treat puzzles. At bedtime, Pickle will often come to bed late, getting in a last-minute nap on the couch before retiring for the evening. Once she's settled in, she will often sleep the entire night cuddled up with her people in bed. She's not a cat who believes everyone should be up and ready for breakfast by 5am, but if you sleep in very late she may walk around on you to be sure you're just sleeping and not in need of help. Pickle is recovering from a tail fracture and takes gabapentin for the pain. This is easily administered in her food and keeps her tail functional and happy. Her injury doesn't affect her affectionate nature and love of people and cuddles. She also needs a monthly injection for arthritis, done at your vet.  Pickle is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
