My story

Meet Tony, a one-year-old German Shepherd Pitbull mix who’s back and ready to find his true forever home! Tony was adopted back in November but through no fault of his own, he’s returned to our care. Now, he’s hoping for a second chance at a family that will give him the love and patience he deserves. Tony is a fantastic dog – a true “dog’s dog”. He gets along with every dog he meets, whether big or small! He is playful and even submissive around his furry friends. Tony would thrive in a home with another confident dog who can help him feel more at ease. While Tony is a little nervous around new people and needs some time to warm up, he’s never aggressive – just shy and cautious until he builds trust. He’s looking for a family that understands the importance of patience and will let him adjust at his own pace. Tony is 100% crate and potty trained and he has excellent house manners. He walks beautifully on a leash, never pulling and is happy to go at whatever pace you prefer. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful and loyal companion who’s ready for his real forever home, Tony might be your guy!
