My story

Lady is a resilient sweetheart with a playful streak and a heart that’s ready to heal. When she first arrived, she wasn’t sure what to make of us—but after a quick pause to assess the situation, she was running over for treats, asking for pets, and trying to play with toys like we’d been friends all along. She walks well on a leash (though she pulls like she’s late for a party) and would benefit from a comfy harness while a neck injury continues to heal. At the shelter, Lady has been friendly, food-motivated, and eager for affection. She’s shown some tension around other dogs and may do best with slow introductions or as your one-and-only. She’s got plenty of love to give and would thrive with someone who can offer patience, playtime, and a cozy place to land. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a little spark, Lady might just be your girl. Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.
