My story

Text or email for direct contact with rescuer located in Palmdale approved for same-day adoption (661)609-2186 memeco635@gmail.com Hey guys my story is a little sadšŸ’” I came from Northern California and I was used as bait to hunt wild Boars. I had a total of 9 siblings, but I was found after a good Samaritan heard gunshots around his property and found 3 of my 9 siblings had already been killed either by bullet or by wild boaršŸ’” Our previous owner said that it wasn’t illegal to use puppies as bait, and he was trying to lower the wild boar population around that area😔The good Samaritan contacted my rescuer and she demanded we be put on transport even though it would take us seven hours to get to our new rescue. 6 of my siblings survived myself included but we were covered in scratches, infested with worms, and had Giardia coccidia and kennel cough! The first thing my rescuer did was get us back to perfect health and it was a struggle for 2 weeks straight being on tons of medication and antibiotics😣 but now we are 100% healthy and ready for a home of our own! Im the smart sibling I listen very well to commands and I’m very mellow and reserved but I love to play and I’m always ready for fun and eager to meet new animals. I can be a little shy at first but I open up pretty quickly and despite my traumatic beginning, I love people, I love children, I love cats and dogs both large and small. I’m very submissive and I would make an amazing first dog or a family companion either active or homebodies I can acclimate to either because I adapt very quickly. I’m crate trained and potty trained on puppy pads, I am not expected to exceed 35 pounds full grown. little is known about my parents, but I came from a well known hunting area and most of the people there have hunting dogs, so I am believed to be a beagle, basset hound Boxer mix but I am 100% marshmallow and will melt in your arms! if you think your family is ready for me to melt your heart with my gentle soul please contact my rescuer directly with the information listed above my Storyā¤ļø schedule a time to meet me. Her hours are 8 AM till 3 AM and she’s available Monday through Friday. Im really looking forward to finding my forever family I know they’ll find me soon!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gordo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
