My story

DOB: March 1, 2023 Meet Mr. Benji—a shy, sensitive soul who needs a bit of time and patience to come out of his shell. When he first arrives in a new space, he’s likely to tuck himself away under the couch, taking comfort in quiet hiding spots. But don’t be fooled—when the house settles down at night, his curiosity takes over, and he’ll quietly explore his surroundings. Sudden noises and quick movements can startle him, but with time and gentle encouragement, Benji begins to show his sweet, playful side. Once he starts to trust you, you'll find him waiting outside the bathroom door or following you around the house like a quiet little shadow. He loves being petted—especially head and neck scratches—and if he’s feeling really affectionate, he might give you a soft tap with his paw to ask for more. Benji is an independent cat who enjoys playing on his own, especially in the evenings when his energy kicks in. He’s also a big fan of window-watching and can spend hours gazing out at the world—so a nice view would definitely make him happy. Benji would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a patient adopter who can offer him the space and time he needs to feel safe. Once he knows he can trust you, he’ll reward you with quiet companionship, playful moments, and lots of love. He truly is a sweet and special boy just waiting for his perfect match.
